    Ebay help

Ok, I put up my PS2 for sale on Ebay, and received an email asking about the accessories that come with it. I replied to this person (Wranglersmakemehaveanass@yahoo) and told them it came with all the cords and everything.

They send me an email back saying they are ready to buy it for $150 and will pay through an electronic check, blah blah they explain how it works.

bout electronic check is the form of payment thatwill be sent to your email
address from my company secured server and you will need to get a versa check
paper which you can get from a walmart store or office depot near you and then
print out the check on it and either take the check to the bank or any cashing
point nearest to you for instant cashment.
So if you are okay with my explaination i will need your full name and address so
get back to me now so that we can proceed on the payment.
And note that shippment will not occur until you have the money in your hand.
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.
    Jessica
I'm suspicious at this point, but I like the offer, and it seems as though I can get the money in my hand before I ship, right?

Then I look at another email I have. This is from another yahoo address, stating they want to know the condition of the PS2 and would like to pay through Electronic check....Same stuff basically, money in my hands before I ship.

    What...the....hell....thoughts?

I really only want to take paypal, plus I already have a bidder. I doubt it reaches $150 though

I've never sold on eBay, but it sounds shady to me.

    Do they have any feedback?

      Um....

I've never sold on ebay but er how could people subvert the bidding process by making private offers via e-mail?

      Sounds shady to me!

Actually now that I think about it, they didn't send the emails through Ebay, so I don't even have their ebay names, if they have one at all. Very shady.

Paypal only. I always click the "paypal only" option, that way I don't have to put up with this bull****.

If you have that stated in the auction, then there should be no problem telling them that and cancelling their bid if they do not comply.
