    Alexisonfire

Not sure how many AOF fans there are here, but I know that there is a few. But I would just like to do my part in trying to promote another band here at OS.

They hail from St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada, and are on Equal Vision Records (Coheed and Cambria, The Fall of Troy, Circa Survive, etc). They won't be for everybody, but I think everyone should check them out.

Alexisonfire's profile including the latest music, albums, songs, music videos and more updates.

Well, the new CD is out on the 22nd, so I thought I would do a little promoting. The CD is very, very good.

New video for: "This Could Be Anywhere In The World"

You know I definitely love these guys. Unfortunately, I've never gotten the opportunity to see them live, but I plan on it.

I haven't checked out any of the new stuff, but I will.

For those who haven't gotten into them...this is my favorite song by them called "Accidents"

PS - A little fun fact is that they are named after the only lactating contortionist in the world, Alexis Fire.

      You should get on it.

The new album leaked a few weeks ago, and I am in love with it.

I was wondering if they were called "Alex is on fire" or "Alexis on Fire." I've giving an older album a listen right now.

          Ya...

There is a video somewhere around the internet, where they are in an interview and are asked..."So, are you guys called Alex Is On Fire or Alexis On Fire?", and the band responded with, "Who the hell would name their band Alex Is on Fire!?"

          Joking, of course.

Make sure to listen to Accidents, Polaroids of Polar Bears, Pulmonary Archery, and Water Wings, Kevin. Actually, you really can't go wrong with any track.

Well, the place online where I am preview full albums for free only has their first album on it which has a couple the songs you listed. I need to find the Watchout! album to preview somewhere to hear the rest. Thanks

A few years ago I never thought I would listen to music like this (with all the screaming), but AOF is definately one of my favorite bands.

Watch Out! is a SUPERB album.

Their singer has such a good voice.

                edit::

I really like what I hear of "Crisis." Seems very strong.

Yeah, they really cross over different genres.

I can't really get into them. I don't know why. I don't hate their songs or anything, and I listen to some fairly similar stuff like Element Eighty, and Waking the Fallen is my favorite album of all time, which is in a somewhat similar genre.

Same with Bullet for My Valentine. Just can't get into it.

3 Inches of Blood is a better Canadian band.
