I was like 5'9 in LL and people constantly challenged my age, and this kid would've had 11" and 100 lbs on me. I would hope is first sport is basketball, this kid will be HUGE.

Did you see the sizes of those two other kids on the same team? 6'3" 190lbs, and a 5'8" 226lb guy? Geez!

I heard him and Greg Oden went out and hit the clubs recently.

He plays 1st base, but that would be scary with a 6'8" pitching 60 feet away esp. for 11-12 year olds.

especially when it's only 45 feet for the 11-12 year olds...

I wasn't sure of the distance for the LL, but good grief that is short.

You're right. It's 46 from the mound to the plate. I thought ya'll were talking about the bases. My fault dudes.

can he hit? if his coordination is there, he should be good to go.. he cant rely on that athletiscm and just overall prowess his whole life.. thats how players flop in the big leagues

Of course, it should also be much easier to strike him out. With a strikezone as large as this kid would have, there's no way he could cover the entire thing at his age.
