I used to during the summer of about 99 and 2000 when I'd be bored out of my mind and I'd watch General Hospital and One Life to Live. My mother(49) and sister(26) are literally the biggest fans of these shows. Now I just laugh at them for watching these shows and at the amount of emotion they put into it...Well, that's hypocritical of me cause I'm a huge wrestling fan which is one big soap opera in itself.

Anywho, man up and admit that you've watched. I remember Acid posting that he watched the view once so that preety much counts.

As a kid 3-6 years old I watched the Young and The Restless. Cuz that's what my baby sitter, and mom used to watch all the time. Mom would tape it and watch it when she would get home from work. I thought Nikki Newman was hot!

I couldn't name a Soap opera or a character from them. But if I am really bored and see a smoking hot woman, I'll stop and watch for a bit.

Sometimes I don't even realise the channel is in Spanish.

When we first moved to madison I watched general hospital because we didn't have cable at the time. I was in 4th grade by the way.

Yep... it was one of my dad's creative punishments... Whenever I would cut school and he found out... My *** would sit in front of a TV and watch soap operas for 3 hours. Longest 3 friggin hours of my life each and every time.

I'd watch Price As Right at 10am, then I'd watch shows like Jenny Jones, Maury, or any court room shows.

That could last me til either TRL (around 99) or before that, which was Saved By The Bell and all those afternoon shows.

Whenever I stay home sick or something, I watch the Today Show, Price is Right, and then ESPN.

Well let's see...

In the 1980s I was allowed to watch DALLAS and FALCON CREST with my mother. I've got all the DALLAS releases and i've heard a rumour that FC will be coming out on DVD next year.

Of course those were night time soaps so it isn't nearly as bad but.....

I watched one of the best soaps of the 80s in SANTA BARBARA. It was witty, had a few comedic moments, was also dramatic and had good storylines. It was a soap that didn't take itself too seriously which what endeared me to it.

I catch a few minutes here and there of Y&R only to find out what's going on with Victor Newman.

I prefer to call her Hot Billy. As opposed to Lisa Rina who was Not-so-Hot Billy.

So yeah I watched Days back in the mid-90's when I was in Jr High.

my mom used to watch Days of Our Lives and General Hospital and if I didn't let her watch she wouldn't cook dinner. I'm overweight so I guess we know who won.
