Wow, I can't believe their is no discussion of this. Anyways, The show sucked bad production wise last night. But, I love how everything is changing. I can't believe Avenge Seven Fold won best new artist. I mean they suck but their the closest to Metal we got on Mtv. WOOOOOOO

LOL A7X won? That IS crazy! I don't like their music all that much but I do give them credit, they are a pretty good group of musicians..

I would like to see more rock music, I can't stand rap one bit really..Last Hip Hop/Rap song I liked was Hey Ya from Outkast, just because I saw the awesome video made with the Peanuts characters..lol that was hilarious! I miss it

Did anyone see the guy who tried to take Panic at the Disco's Moon Man? When Panic at the Disco won an award this guy came up on the stage with them and tried to take the Moon Man from JLo. It was funny because he was saying MTV should have gave him his own show and stuff, then they carted his *** of the stage.

I watched some of it and it was horrible. The whole emo thing is just pathetic to me. Jared Leto was the worst offender. Only thing worth watching was JT and The Killers. Jack Black sucked..should have had Sarah Silverman host.

At every commerical break they would give every surpise or what was going to happen that pissed me off. I would have like to be surpised when Axl came out or a performance came on that I didn't expect. That emo trend needs to go away.

i usually like Jack Black but he was a terrible host. Seems like he tried way too hard for laughs. I guess his kind of humor work in movies but not in hosting. =/
