Sad day, he was one the best at what he does. He did have a risky job/lifestyle but hope his studies and shows educate people for a long time.

well it certainly would have been more ironic if a croc got him, but at least the stingray killed him instantly and there was no struggling.

not saying i dnt beleive all the press this is getting but isnt this like the 3rd time hes died in 5 years. i mean there are too many media outlets reporting this for it not to be true but like yahoo had the last "rumor" of his death too. its crazy though. this guy has done all this crap with the most feirce animals on the planet, yet its a stingray that stings him and he dies.

You know, he did some very crazy stuff but he had an enthusiasm for life and sharing the wild life that very few people have. I've always thought that it would be something like this that would kill him.

He died doing what he loved, can't fault that. I think he has toned down his actions too, not as crazy as he used to be since he has the family, and this was such a freak accident (not like he was wrestling a croc or something). Sad though, just sad.

Stingray barb ^ man that sux he had a real passion for animals. I was watching the show once when one of his older crocs had died he was crying for it like it was his mother that had passed or something holding it in his arms,kissing it everything they had a funeral for it pretty emotional stuff. I mean any dude who can still have love for a croc that has been trying to kill him everyday for the past 10 or 11 years has to be a good person.
