I can already see a problem with an 80 Gig space in those iPods.

The question: How do you find your song if you fill all 80 Gig of space in your iPod?

Isn't a regular mp3 player enough? Man oh man.

Easy. There is a built in live search. Very easy to use, and even easier to find certain songs.

I'm really enjoying my 8GB Nano... picked it up yesterday evening.

iTunes 7 is really nice too... love the album flip feature...

iTunes 7 does seem really nice.

I have a 60gig...so I don't see me upgrading...ever.

Stupid question, but how does itunes 7 automatically place album art with your songs that don't already have it? It worked for some of my songs and not for some. The reason I ask is because is there something I should do so it works all the time? Thanks!

Yeah, I dont really get the album art thing either. A lot of my songs still dont have the album show up.

I just tried using iTunes again and it's still crappy IMO.

Their are some cool features about it, but the ripping process is ridiculously frustrating.

I hate how they incorporate featured guests on songs with the artist so it puts them in a totally different category.

And then when you edit it them, for some reason they sometimes get out of order in the tracklisting.

I'll stick with winamp even though it's slower.

A ton less hassel.

In other news, I tried returning my 30g iPod at two best buys today. One of them wouldn't take it back because it was over 30 days since I purchased it (I bought it on the 11th of August).

At the second stop the guy who worked at customer service completely cool and pushed it through for me. I think he put it down as a broken iPod because I had the Best Buy warrenty.

So I was able to get the 60gb for the price I paid for the 30. I can live without the 80 (I don't have that much stuff).

All is right with the world now.

Anyone else having problems with the iPod update/iT7?

I'm trying to put music on my new 60gb iPod and once it gets to about 100 mb's or so it'll say "Updating iPod don't disconnect" and then go blank on the iTunes screen with none of my music having been transferred.

Yeah, the same crap was happening to me last night. You have to drag the files over to the actual iPod (on the left-hand side where it says your iPod's name) and drop them in there. I was up for HOURS trying to figure it out last night. Pissed me the hell off.

I was just like you with my old 60 gig photo. I don't know what happened, but eventually I upgraded to the video one. I think because it was black. But anyway, 80 gigs is 80 gigs...

Hey, does the Apple store take in trades of old ipods for store credit? I might have to snag myself an 80 GB later on. That price is incredibly great. Of course, I have to see what it do different from the one I have though.......
