As for this last show, total and crap come to mind. It was so cliche it wasn't even funny. I could have sworn I have seen the same episode on countless shows before, although this one seemed very much akin to an episode of 90210.
The sad thing it the previous 2 episodes were damned good, sans the whole Meredith falling in the water thing.Comment

All the girls that I talk to that watch the show (and, you KNOW a lot of women watch Grey's) has MAD hate for Callie just like Izzie does. Several of the ladies on the Young Adult Choir at church that I'm on watch Grey's. Heck, the director introduced me to it and provided Seasons 1 & 2 for me to watch. I think that has A LOT to do with it. I said last night that Callie (in my opinion) was the hottest female on the show (closely followed by Addison) the reaction was as if I claimed Callie was the lost child of Jesus. I've seen the exact opposite impressions from the women at work and my wife about Callie. They all like Callie a lot and one of the reasons is because she's NOT cookie cutter thin. They love the fact that her body resembles theirs. I haven't seen the hate for Callie from other women at all. Different strokes I guess.Comment

Yeah, I forgot about the little discussion between the "perky and punctual" chick and Bailey at the start of the arc.
Don't forget though, that Webber did tell Bailey that he wishes/hopes that he could put Bailey in the Chief of Surgery position after witnessing all the blathering BS everyone else was dishing. I should have been a little more precise. Thin girls will be appalled that a larger girl can be as hot as Callie is, because she breaks the mold that society as cast for so long. Myself, I have always found girls with some substance to them to be more attractive than girls so thin you can see bones. For years the media has treated my type as the cows of the world, there was little outrage when Elizabeth Hurley basically called Marilyn Monroe a cow.Comment
