That section of the hospital had to exist already. I'm assuming they just occupied a little-used part of the hospital. Nothing can be built in 8 days. I'm surprised they even had a sign ready.

Pretty good shows the last 2 weeks. This season looks to finish up strong. Can't wait until Thursday night!

Wow! I seriously can't wait until the next episode.

Several good stories were born this week.

Jane Dough, Meredith, Izzy's guy, the worried mom, etc.

Grey's Anatomy has nothing to do with her last name. Grey's Anatomy is a very famous medical reference book.

You mean the reference book "Gray's Anatomy"

This show still hooks my wife and I, though I wonder if the characters will ever really grow and "learn" from their traumatic experiences (the only ones who have IMO are Bailey and Izzie). Also, why bring back the bomb squad guy. His death was non-surgical and meaningless to the series. It should have been George's dad along with Denny. Great episode, though. Anyone else wondering how/if/when George and Izzie will hook up? They seem perfect for each other and her telling him that his marriage to Callie was a mistake came out of left field. Wow!

the only reason the bomb guy was there was because some people wouldnt recongize him and immediately know meredith was dead... by letting the bomb guy be there, it was able to drag it on a few more seconds, at least for the people who didnt know/remember the bomb guy...

of course i think meredith wakes up and tells izzie she talked to denny

Which I believe will immediately drop Izzie down from her "rock star" status.

well Meredith escaped death one time and the bombsquad guy didn't. She didn't have any connection to George's daddy.

I was thinking more along the lines of "meaningful" series deaths, but the escaping death makes sense. Denny escaped death after Izzie cut the LVAD wire (the surgery was fine but a clot killed him) and the bomb guy blew up after everything was "OK".

Definately something to ponder, but I don't think there's a chance in H-E-double hockey sticks that Meredith will actually die (though some sort of shock/memory loss after the hypothermia might be a cool twist...kind of like temporary Alzheimer's after losing some oxygen and blood flow to the brain). I definately think the words shared by her and her mom, as well as from Ellis to Shepherd definately have some future role to play.
