This show still hooks my wife and I, though I wonder if the characters will ever really grow and "learn" from their traumatic experiences (the only ones who have IMO are Bailey and Izzie). Also, why bring back the bomb squad guy. His death was non-surgical and meaningless to the series. It should have been George's dad along with Denny. Great episode, though. Anyone else wondering how/if/when George and Izzie will hook up? They seem perfect for each other and her telling him that his marriage to Callie was a mistake came out of left field. the only reason the bomb guy was there was because some people wouldnt recongize him and immediately know meredith was dead... by letting the bomb guy be there, it was able to drag it on a few more seconds, at least for the people who didnt know/remember the bomb guy...

Definately something to ponder, but I don't think there's a chance in H-E-double hockey sticks that Meredith will actually die (though some sort of shock/memory loss after the hypothermia might be a cool twist...kind of like temporary Alzheimer's after losing some oxygen and blood flow to the brain).
