Funny? I don't see anything funny about this. Maybe I've got this all wrong, but to me, Mexico is sending the signal that it's okay for criminals in this country to go there because it's illegal for anyone to bring them back.

This sucks, there's no two ways about it.

What is the real reason? Is Mexico mad that they didn't turn over the convict to the Mexican authorities? I was confused on what was going on, and with this story.

Either way, something is totally messed up here with him. He arrested a serial rapist, and now is in trouble. He even said last night he was thinking about hanging it all up, but a day later he realized this is his calling.

The issue is this. In Mexico, Bounty Hunting is illegal. It's the same thing as kidnapping. When he went there, got the guy, and brought him to America, he broke a Mexican law.

They actually arrested him back then, and he was released on bond, but did not go back to Mexico for his court date. Would you have?

Anyhow, through the persistance of the Mexican government, the US finally drew up an arrest warrant for him, his son, and their colleague. That's where we are now.

I saw bits and pieces of it last night. I really feel for the Chapmans. I mean what Dog is doing is a service for everyone. I also laugh at the Mexican government as they think what he did was "illegal" yet a Canadian couple was in a hotel last year and get their heads blown off right in the hotel....the Mexican authorities tried to blame the couple's background rather then going after the killers.

Mexico is truly one of the most currupt countries in the world IMO.

Ok, makes sense. I saw where he spent jail time back when he made the arrest. The Mexican Gov't could eat him alive, I hope for his sake this is worked out. I'm glad A&E gave him the show last night, and he did the show. This has to be embarrassing for him. Still one of the better shows on TV.

You mean the same extradition treatries that Mexico breaks all the time? The State Department needs to step in here the same way it stepped in for that idiot in Singapore.

Mexico should be giving him a medal instead of putting him in jail. But then that's Mexico for you...
