Last Call with Carson Daly

Does anybody like this show? Im not gonna hate on anyone that does, but I really find it hard to believe that anyone thinks this guy is remotely funny. I cannot stand watching this guy. He has the worst writing and just cannot tell a joke. The crowd does not even react to him. I was doing some work on the computer and he was on, and I was just wondering if anyone likes his show.

I've seen like 20 minutes total of his show and it's "public access" bad in my eyes.

... will mark the end of Daly's gone-on-far-too-long career. The man seems intent on focusing every ounce of his being on not being funny. Anytime I want to fall asleep I make sure to tune into NBC or whatever channel dude's on. He's like a robot.

I don't understand the purpose of this show. After the Tonight Show and Conan, someone would want to cap the night with Last Call? That makes no sense.

My guess? If you are up when this show is on, you have severe insomnia and this is NBC's public service to help you fall asleep.

Hard to believe this asshat got to date Jennifer Love Hewiit.

Carson Daly is a massive toolbox and on the few occasions that I've had the misfortune of watching his show for any length of time, it reminds me of those old "Chris Farley Show" spoofs on SNL back in the day.

Dude is the luckiest man on the planet, how he falls into gig after gig I'll never know. Ive never watched his show, but years ago on some other show they interviewed him while he was hosting TRL. This was during the massive band boy craze....he said his job at MTV "isnt to play videos, its to tell people what is cool, and whats not!"

The idea of a 3rd late night show isn't so crazy. Tom Snyder had one for years and later for a few years on CBS. His show was more like a late night celeb heavy version of Charlie Rose's show on PBS. He would sometimes have some very interesting guests or pull out interesting conversations with people you'd think would be too dull to be able to do so.

I know Carson Daly's show isn't like that but he might as well try something like it because he's got the most boring show on the face of the planet. i'd rather watch informercials then this guy.

I think the show is intended for audiences returning home from the bar because you would have to be drunk to watch this or have no arms to change the channel.
