I live in Hoover, and they are not portraying anything to what it's really like in the city. They are trying to portray Hoover of being this small hick town where nobody does anything else but obsess over a high school football team. That couldn't be farther from the truth. Hoover is a huge suberb of Birmingham and was listed in Money magazine as one of the top 100 small cities to live in. People that live here are upset with that and also how the team chaplan has been portrayed.

This is Alabama we are talking about.

So the season finale was tonight. The state championship rings were pretty ridiculous. Did anyone else know that there was a national championship in high school football? I thought it just ended at states. I also read somewhere that the average income of this town(city) is $80,000 and the football program alone brings in $400,000 per year.

Alex's girlfriend, Kristin Boyle, was really hot. In the first episode they showed him and her fooling around in a pool. Smokin' body.
But then he screwed that up with some other chick and Kristin wanted to bang that fat lineman, Goose. But the guy had no sack and backed out. He should have tapped that as quickly as possible. That would have been the one and only time he would have bagged a hot chick like that.

In the SI article the QB, Ross Wilson, was supposed to have a cannon for an arm. Didn't Hoover end up winning the national championship?

He actually stole something from a car, my bad. Anyways, I never got the impression that he was THAT good on the show, where were all the INTs? They probably just chose him as one of the main cast members because of his life outside of football.

Bingo! He cheated on his hot girlfriend with another girl who looked like she had a pizza throw up on her face.
And that haircut was the worst thing I've seen since Screech's sex tape. It's like he's already preparing for the comb-over he'll have to do in 10 years.

Alex might actually be smart with this decision. He probably figured his girlfriend was going to dump him because she only dates hotshot football players. And since he wasn't going to be one anymore he probably figured he'd latch on to some highschool freshman that still considered him a legend.
Meanwhile, Kristin is hanging out with the 'Bama football team throwing down more weiners than Takeru Kobayashi.

I see her walking down Sorority Row sometimes. My date to the Alabama-Vandy game was in her sorority and I met Kristin and Goose. She's hot, but nothing too spectacular about her other than the fake boobs.
