Screw You DirecTVFor deciding it was a good decision to not carry the new CW network. I don't get it, we had WB on channel 14, that WB affiliate was becoming a CW, but alas this morning it is gone. WTF is up with that? Comcast is too fricking expensive around here, so now because of some laziness and stupidity on someone's part at DirecTV, I don't have the channel that has all of my favorite shows.

 Re: Screw You DirecTV

Yeah, and they assured me when I switched I would have the CW. To make it worst, DTV outsources their call center to India, so these people have no clue what I am even talking about.

It gets weird too, according to CWTV.com, there is a CW affiliate in Springfield, MA. However this channel isn't identified by a station name and it doesn't have a phone number. So I have no idea, our area is weird as it is. With Comcast, we get local ABC/CBS/NBC from Springfield and Hartford. On DTV our Fox is from Hartford, and that Fox owns the CW, and on DTV's website that CW is listed as a local channel to them, but not for me. All I want is to speak to someone who can explain this.Comment

Comcast is too expensive? They were $20-30 cheaper than Direct TV when I had them. For deciding it was a good decision to not carry the new CW network. Re: Screw You DirecTV

I had the same package on Comcast as I did DTV, and on Comcast it was running over $100 a month with Programming Fees, Taxes, Box Rental, Remote Rental, DVR Fee. For DTV, it is $60 a month with all of that, before I did their new package with NFL Sunday Ticket, which raised it to around $70/month or so. Funny how Comcast doesn't seem to have a basic rate around the country.

I finally got to an American through DTV's Customer Service, and she sounded sick of hearing this question, but said they are working on it. It is just screwed up. Does anyone know if you can find a network feed online anywhere? If not, I guess I'll have to find the shows via the torrent route until they get this squared away.

We also don't have a MyNetworkTV, but oh well, that I could care less about.Comment

It officially starts today. The CW affliate here in NYC is in some type of weird holding pattern.

If things don't get less confusing tonight MassNole, then you have a problem.xbl gamertag: jiggidyjames72Comment

When I finally spoke with someone with a name shorter than 30 letters, she said they were working on it as best they could. I just fail to see how the k with the WB/CW in Baltimore didn't flow through the merger.Comment
