Are you serious? Tahkns a ton, didn't know today was the season premiere. Yup that last season ended dramatically. Should be a good show. Hopefully the show builds on the success of the first season.

yeah, i tivo'ed the first season over the summer every week and really got into this show, now i'm hooked. Besides The Office (obviously), this is my most anticipated premier, to see what happens

Like mgo I started watching this show late in the summer (only about four/five episodes) and now have it set to record automatically. A damn good show...perfect balance of heart and humor!

Now, correct me if I'm wrong.

I watched the first episode and a couple of episdoes in-between (maybe 3-4 total).

The main character in the show, Ted, is in love with Robin. But, we already know that he won't actually end up with Robin, right?

I thought that in the first episode his kids say something like, "So, that's how you met mom?" And then he replies with, "No. That's how I met your aunt."

I might have some wording wrong. I just want to make sure I'm on the right track here.

If I remember correctly, that is what he said. They both really like each other but went through a phase where they wouldn't talk to each other. That changed at the last episode. We will see how it unfolds tonight and throughout the season.

What happened with the proposal?

I'm assuming Robin said no. But, they are now in love. So, would I be right in assuming Robin gave it some thought and figured it would be a good idea to at least see if something is there. And then that blew up into love and now we have the 2nd season premiere.

Lily got a job offer (intern offer? I forget) for some art thing in San Francisco and she wanted to go but Marshall didn't want her to go.

Check YouTube, you can find the last 6 minutes of the last episode on there. It was such a great finale.

I really would consider skipping work to watch the premiere tonight. :y4:

If i'm not mistaken, I believe thoughtout the last couple episodes, Lily got some kind of career offer overseas. They didn't show the break-up, all that happened was Ted came home very happy that he and Robin we're "together" again, and when he got home, Marshall was on the stairs with his head in his arms. That's how the 1st season ended.

EDIT: I aguess Acid was right and it was probably San Francisco.
