Re: Anyone watch MTV?
Has anyone seen the King Fu show, like "finally FU" or something, it might be the WORST show i have ever seen, its so bad its funny. Its even worse than that stupid "your mama" show with the 70 show guy.
Thats really bad too, but I do like watching the real world for some reasonGT: Event Horizon 0Comment

Re: Anyone watch MTV?
Exactly and some networks dont charge a subscription fee at all. For example, Viacom owns MTV, VH1, Comedy Central and Logo (the gay and lesbian channel). They charge a high fee for MTV and VH1 but dont charge anything for Logo because they are trying to intice cable operators to carry the channel.Comment

Re: Anyone watch MTV?
I was listening to MLB radio a few months ago and a sports business guest said there has been discussion of a la carte in Congress. He basically said it would terrible because a lot of cable channels would fold because they wouldn't get enough viewers. Stations like TNT, TBS, ESPN, and MTV would survive, but less popular stations like Spike TV would probably vanish.I would love a la carte programming from cable/satelite companies. I would to say pay $40 and be able to pick 40 channels that I actually want. Like on DirecTV, my life loves DIY, but to get it we needed to have like 8 channels and 10 XM channels we will never watch or listen to. Why not let me have a package where I can drop CMT for that.Comment

Re: Anyone watch MTV?
I dunno, i think i just grew out of it after I was 21. I pass by it every once in awhile to see what is on.
I actually really like the True Life Series. I think they do a good job picking people and really following their lives.
Now that I'm past the other mtv crap, i'm now watching VH1 a lot. But only for history stuff like History of Hip hop or something about the history of a band or artist. I caught the Def Lepard story on there a couple weeks ago, cool movie.Comment
