LOL, that part was also hysterical. That was funny and it was also good writing with the reference back to the candy bars he was chucking at the business kids. A little "Seinfeldian", if you will. Good reminder there.Comment

I thought it was a letdown until the very last scene with Michael and Pam. And then I thought it was one of the better episodes of the season. It got back to what makes Michael Scott (and the show) so great.
The guy doesn't conform to the corporate office culture. He wants to be seen as the old business sage, but he doesn't go by the book (he tears them up). He wants everyone to like him, but he doesn't play by the rules, like Toby does for example. His cluelessness can make you cringe.
Last night, after the B-School debacle he's completely deflated and drops the following gem on Ryan: "A good manager doesn't fire people, he hires people and inspires people." Another corny platitude by Michael Scott, eh?
Nope, because he then out of nowhere, shows up at Pam's art show to console her.
I also liked the scene when Creed calls Meredith, "Marybeth."Comment

I haven't seen last night's episode yet, but I am wondering what happened to Andy. He was the perfect foil to Dwight. Maybe I just missed how they wrote him out of the show.I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams
