I just hope that Kat seeing Ethan at the neighbor's house doesn't lead to them somehow discovering their feelings for each other and hooking up.... That underlying tension is part of what makes the show funny.

I was watching Mean Girls this past weekend on TBS and for the first time I realized that Kat is that goth Janis girl from that movie. I remember her on Smallville a couple times but not as this girl. She looks like she's lost a good bit a weight since Mean Girls or either it was just the clothes in that movie. Edit: Now I see someone else mentioned it in this thread, she's definitely looking better IMO, but her hair is a little retro.

To make room for "Old Christine," CBS will dismiss "The Class" early. The first-year show will return with new episodes Monday, Jan. 8, and aside from a repeat scheduled for Jan. 29, will be in originals through its March 5 season finale. That will bring the show's total this season to 19 episodes, a little short of the usual full-season complement of 22 episodes.

Probably not. I think it's more of a reorganizing. The show's characters will ALL be intersecting a lot more in the future.

I don't like how often CBS is moving "The Class". It might not mean anything, but it seems like it's the low show on the CBS totem pole for Monday night.

Last I saw it was getting better ratings than How I Met Your Mother.

I kinda liked the way they were going with this at first... It was interesting to have the characters intersecting sporadically... I'll still be on board to watch it, though... I think this is a great show.

Quite different format then lets say Friends. Although both show have eight core characters, Joey, Monica and the rest were practically bumping into each other, while The Class has them segmented and with a larger group of satellite characters. Interesting to see how they pull it off. The "bonding" starts Jan 1st when they all come together in a bar.
