I think the season finale is next Monday, so there's probably only one episode left. This is an excerpt from a TVGuide Online interview with the actress that plays Lina. The question is about whether the series will be back for a season 2.
TVGuide.com: So you haven't heard yet?
Goldenhersh(Lina): No, they said a decision would be released around the time that they announce the pilot pickups in May. But I'm happily occupied doing a play, and I'll be doing a small role in a George Clooney film.

Interesting thing about this show is the writer's infatuation with infidelity. Richie was married when he started dating Lina. Nicole and Duncan slept together in episode 1 and she is now leaving her husband. The violin guy was cheating on Kat (Cat?). Three cheating angles in the first 12-14 episodes of a series really sets a tone.

        Re: The Class

Good point, Clay... I hadn't really noticed that... And in two of those situations, the adulterers are two of the more sympathetic characters... Richie is married to Satan in a dress, and Nicole is seemingly trapped in a marriage to a man who doesn't value her. So you almost wind up rooting for them to get out of their respective situations.

Spoilers are already out for what will hopefully not be the serie's finale this Monday, March the 5th.

I wouldn't think that a show like this would have spoilers

I freakin' hope that isn't the case. I really enjoy this show.

Yeah, I saw 5 listed on Wikipedia for "The Class". I only read the first one, which is fairly predictable concerning Yonk's situation.

Ah, hell no. I freakin' LOVE The Class and it's almost starting to replace How I Met Your Mother in terms of me enjoying it. Grrr -- don't be dumb CBS.

Hmm. Interesting show tonight, a lot of laughs from me. It was good to see CBS bill the show as a season finale instead of a series finale.

Great twist involving (or not involving) Ethan and Kat. At this point it would be hard for me to believe that the show won't be picked up for a second season.

This is a very good show and I would be highly dissappointed to see it not get renewed. I think they are taking a big risk in ending it now... but we'll see. This show is actually one that I would be willing to email/write CBS on behalf of.

Same here. You can't just end a show like that, but then again one of my all-time favorites had a season finale and never came back (Dead Like Me).

For me it was "Jack And Bobby".

                              Not good news.
The Hollywood Reporter confirms that CBS is likely to maintain a Monday night comedy block that includes third seasons of "HIMYM" and "Christine," as well as a second run of mid-season comedy "Rules." Those three would carry the night along with returning hit "Two and a Half Men," a move that would mean the end of "The Class" and would also suggest that none of CBS' new comedy pilots would be on the air in the fall.
