It's on right now on NBC. It is truly scary how many of these type of people are out there in the world. Sad thing is, they can't stop all of 'em.

This show makes me very sad.

Edit: Just watching it for a few minutes makes me feel sick. Then I switched to Vh1 by accident and saw Flavor of Love and I'm even more sick.

All I need is to catch a rerun of Survivor: Cook Islands and I'll hang myself from my lost faith in humanity.

Those military guys are pathetic. I just want to thank Dateline and NBC for doing stuff like this and locking these guys up. Hopefully they do a lot more of these. I agree The C, can't believe there are people like this in the world. Sad thing is there many many many of them.

W-5 (basically the Canadian 60 Minutes) did a story on the same topic and the sad thing is that the police officers and officials who do this kind of work get burnt out real fast. It's so demoralizing to the soul to see that there are people like this in the world. I can't imagine doing the kind of work that the police do to get these guys.

This show really hits close to home since we have two daughters(5 and 1) The way the world is going I am so scared of what we are going to have to protect them from during their teenage years.

On a side note, just here in the STL metro, we have had a 1 week old baby getting abducted(baby is ok and back with mom) then just last night in East St Louis, a pregnant woman was found dead and the baby was cut from the womb, later to be found dead and buried. Then today a guy kidnapped his baby and the babie's mother and his believed to be trying to smuggle them back into Mexico. Just a sick sick world we are living in.

Despite the national attention garnered by the "To Catch A Predator" series these guys are so obsessed with young girls they are still getting caught.

A couple stated, before they got caught, about the Dateline show yet still went and thankfully got caught. There is another one next week.

It's embarassing enough for those pedophiles to get pranked, to be caught doing stuff like this and to be sentenced on national TV. This show is awesome so that we can see pedophiles humiliate themselves.

What's sad is that some of the guys that have been busted saw the earlier shows and it still didn't stop them.

The creeps are full of excuses. One guy said he was there only to provide company.

A lot of professionals will tell you these guys can't be cured. Wanting to have sex with children is like a addiction/disease for these guys. The only option is put them in jail, and even that is very expensive for the taxpayers.

What's scary is that there isn't one type of pedophile. On Dateline, they have had a church minister, youth counsellor, doctor, army members, director of a software company, etc......

On the last episode one guy even took the company truck.

I just wonder how some of these guys explained to their wife and children why they were arrested.

By airing there stories on national tv, their lives are ruined. I imagine employers aren't going to be impressed when they find out you want to diddle with little kids. The family reunion isn't going to go smoothly either.
