I can't wait for next week, and I can see a few things being resolved, namely Nikki/Dl's storyline. Speaking of which, how's it take DL a whole season to do something cool? I was really thinking he'd be offed tonight, but nice move against Linderman. About that, do you guys think this is the last of Linderman? Does he have Claire-like abilities but being more experienced can focus his healing outwardly? Will she be able to develop her power in order to do that? How is it that Sylar can use powers better than the people he stole them from? If Ando knows he dies in the future, and knows Sylar will kill him, yet want's Hiro to save him, why would he run off alone to take on Sylar (I've been wanting him dead for a while anyway)?

Because his ability is to analyze and learn how things work. He's getting a full understanding of the power while somehow implementing it into his own brain.

In that way, he is more powerful than Peter, because while Peter has every power that Sylar has and many more, he doesn't know of it consciously, and can't tap into them at will. He's a jack of all trades, master of none to some extent, while Sylar can master his powers.

The showdown that's coming should be really special to watch.

As for Ando, I hope he survives, I like the chemistry between him and Hiro, he makes a great sidekick, IMHO.

That scene was just sick. But then they got to Molly and I was all sadface'd.

Great episode tonight, I was pissed when sylar killed my boy in the police escort.....I liked his character.....oh! well!!

Also this episode was doing so much, it was kind of wierd. Seems like they can go a few more episodes before ending the season..

But they'll end it, next monday and I'm sure it will be straight to the point, I don't see the story lingering any longer.....can't wait....

Nice episode. More of a set-up for next week but it was nice nonetheless.

I doubt Linderman's really dead though. He has too much going for him to be killed off that quickly. Ando was acting like a bitch in this one though -- you want to be saved then you go running off like that! I liked the training part as well, it had this whole passing the torch feel to it which I believe Season 2 will be about. Also, hasn't FBI girl seen Sylar before? I was kind of surprised she didn't recognize a single thing about Sylar.

Can't wait for next week! Showdown time.

No, she has never seen Sylar's face as far as I can remember. He always hid behind a baseball cap, and he was often seen as just a silhouette when she and Parkman were trying to chase him down. When he was finally caught, he was caught by Bennett and stored at the paper company, not at the police station.

As for Ando, I think it's understandable what he's trying to do. He wants to save his own life, and if Hiro can't save him, he'll try to do it himself by killing Sylar before Sylar gets the opportunity to kill him. He knows his fate, so he rushes headlong into it, thinking perhaps with the knowledge of what will happen the outcome could be different. He's pretty much a goner, but I hope he survives, I like his character.

If you remember when they showed Ando with a sword at the end of the episode he was reading Isaac Mendez's comic, perhaps Ando seperates from Hiro in the comic and Ando was just following that.

                            Where'd you get this idea?

Just wondering, because I never saw anything that would indicate the father and the ancient Japanese guy were the same.

Anyway, it's interesting really, if you know your mysticism and allegories to listen to the story and understand what all that stuff is probably really about.

                              .

I'm guessing because he said "I've been waiting for a Nakamura to ascend, I didn't think it'd be you, Hiro." We've only seen one sibling, in his sister, but it seems like the dad had been waiting for one out of many.

Well, that doesn't really imply he was the legendary swordsman. For one thing, you have to recall he WAS into trafficking "heroes" as the president of the Company, finding out their potential, and exploiting them. It would be natural for him to think one of his own children might "ascend", since he also has a power, which also doesn't exactly imply he has been waiting THAT long to begin with.
