Breaking News: High school "active shooter" holding hostages (live)

Go to your local news station right now (it's for sure on FOX and CNN). It instantly brought back memories of Columbine. This... guy had fired shots (don't think at people), and at one time was holding six people hostage, and four schools nearby were locked down. At this point, four hostages have been released, but two female hostages still remain (no indication if they are students or staff, let alone members at the school). There was also one bomb threat... I think that was a false claim however. The entire school, to my knowledge, has been evacuated, and police have already spoke with a certain amount of knowledge on this matter.

This one seems more like an act of desperation, and a cry of help. I don't think this man's intent is to kill anybody. He's probably seeking help, and he's doing it in a loud way. However, I'm not completely sure. I don't even know if the shooter is a student, an adult, or even involved with the persons, school, or city.

    I'll find a link briefly.

CNN is having commercials and only covering it as a developing story, so it hardly seems like a Columbine-type incident. FOX News even stated directly that the severity was far less than what happened at Columbine seven years ago.

        Still it's a serious story.

If you have Headline News they're covering it extensively.

Oh, then I think I'm watching another CNN channel... this one hasn't had a commercial break yet.

This is by far less severe than Columbine, of course. Will probably be forgotten about in a couple of days, actually (if not tomorrow). But, at this given time, I'd say it's probably worth something to watch and break the story about. These situations are always lethal, though.

Guys, sorry, but this isn't entertaining or any type of technology. The "Everything Else" forum is gone for a reason.
