    Saw III

I don't think we ever made an official thread for this movie yet (just me posting a trailer on the movie trailer thread, and a new thread about that same trailer), so I guess... 30 days left until it opens, with a little bit of information out there, it's plausible to create one now.

I'll spend some time in the upcoming weeks to post any updates on this movie, but I must warn you that most things that they put out are... not quite spoilers... but you'd get a good sense of what you'll see in the movie, which is why I haven't even watched some of the new teasers.

I've been able to talk to one of the characters (his name is Troy in the movie... don't know his purpose or anything) on a message board that he appeared on, and from what he says, Saw III makes Saw and Saw II look like Disney movies.

Now, what does that mean for us? Obviously, sick sick torture. Hopefully it doesn't turn into just a complete bloodbath entertainmentfest... hopefully it's the other way around, in the sense that it will be really dark, gloomy, eerie, and intense (of course, blood is needed... but it's not the blood, it's the pain).

Comes out October 27th. Anyone else in on seeing this one?

This year is flying by. I didn't realize this was only a month away.

I'll definitely watch this the second weekend as opening weekend is too much trouble.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Didn't see the first one, didn't see the second one, I'll probably keep it going and not see the third one either.

No reason other then I haven't found the time to watch them.

If you ever do, make sure you watch them sequentially with no spoilers.

I've seen both of them. Saw I probably 3-4 times, but I've only seen Saw II once, opening night. Can someone jog my memory on how it ends? I know who "ends up being behind it all", but what happens to Jigsaw? I completely forget.

Tobin Bell's character John Kramer (Jigsaw) appears to still be alive at the end, which must mean he will be in this one. Again, I'm trying my best NOT to seek any information on this one that will spoil too much of it, but I want at least some general grasp on it.
