Jet - "Shine On"

Anybody checked this out yet? I think it's "officially" released tomorrow. Any fans out there? I didn't really like their last release that much, but it grew on me. Really digging it so far. Had it for about a week and just now getting around to listening to it.

I listened to about half of it yesterday and liked most of what I heard.I thought it sounded better than their first,which was solid but not outstanding.I will definatley be buying the new disc and then making a compilation of the two.

not really sure what the words are in the song, only heard it once. Shine On is the name of their new CD.

I think the new Jet album is mediocre because it sounds too much like a Beatles-Oasis cover band.

Jet came at us two years ago with a muscular debut, full of riffs and rockers with a few ballads tossed in for measure. Now the band is going all Oasis on us in just its second major label, sounding way too Beatlesque for my tastes.

Not a horrible album, and maybe it will grow on me. And I'm all for musical growth and experimentation, but Jet apes The Beatles and Oasis (who aped the sh*t out of The Beatles) a bit too much on this record.

Jet is a copy of Oasis and Oasis wasn't cool 3, 7 or 10 years ago and they aren't cool now. I wish the Gallaghers would just go away. They've never won a Grammy and the only award worth writing home about was the Brit Awards "Best UK Album"....10 years ago.

Some bands just don't know when to quit. Oasis is one of them.

While I agree with the last sentence, since when has a Grammy Award meant a f*cking thing when determining musical quality? Remember, Jethro Tull beat Metallica for the first hard rock Grammy, and have incredible bands like Yo La Tengo or Wilco ever won a Grammy?

Dont know what you are talking about,because my space button is just fine and there is one space in between all my word except where there is a comma or a period.This is what it would look like if there were two spaces.Relax dude!
