Something cool for those who have laptops and a 360
I know alot of people probably already know this but in case you didnt.... You can use your Laptop like a wireless adapter by using internet sharing with basically any windows operating system. I have been using it lately and I dont notice a drop in speed. Now I dont have to buy a wireless adapter I can just use the laptop which is great. Its not hard at all to setup even though I work on networking and such as a occupation this isnt that difficult.Tags: None -

I guessing your running XP if so go to control panel and then to your network connections. You will need to share your wireless connection with your LAN connection (ethernet port).
Right click your wireless connection go to advanced right below the Windows Firewall settings will be an option to that will say share this connection and it will ask what network connection you want to share with ... you will select the LAN connection and that is basically the hard part.
You need to check and make sure you have your TC/IP settings set to obtain automatically for the LAN connection.
Connect the Cat 5 cable (ethernet cable) turn on the 360 go to network settings test the settings and it should pass with flying colors giving you the ability to connect the 360 wirelessly via your laptop.Comment
