    Critical PC Problem :(

My sister had her paper on a flash drive, and after saving, now gets some I/O error problem in reading the flash. Does those hard drive recovery programs work for flash drives?

I also did right-click->properties on the flash and it shows up as zero bytes. Help!

Does the properties window show any files on it?

If it says no files and zero bytes, I think your sister is out of luck.

    Always remember to make backups.

      Try this. It's shareware.

Let me know if it worked.

There's a bunch out there, but most of them require registration.

I used a different file recovery software (FinalData) and it worked like a charm. Whew!
