    Looking to buy my first motorcycle (help)...

    i've been wanting to get one for a while. i'm looking to get it within the next few monthes but i need a good "starter" bike. something that looks good but has some good kick!!! any suggests, links, or pics would be great! also, feel free to go into details about you suggestions. thx...
    I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...

      i started out with a gixxer 600, perfect starter bike. if you have never ridden, it will go plenty fast until you get comfortable. it is also lightweight and nimble. easy to handle for a noob. i had mine for about a year, by then i need something with more pop so i stepped up to the R1.

                  wear all your gear, its never too hot and you're never too cool to wear at least boots that cover your ankles, a motorcycle jacket and your helmet, gloves and at least jeans. Pick your spots to act a fool, live to ride another day, cowhide or your hide.
