    Looking for upgrade advice

    Okay, I fixed my PC problem (the thermal paste was poorly done and reapplying artic silver did the trick) and I am considering upgrading by either: A) going from my 6800 128 DDR card to an AGP 7600gt 256 DDR3 card and waiting until next year to do an overhaul (mid-range DX 10 cards by next summer probably) or overhauling to PCI-E and getting a 7900gs.


    The first option is cheaper, but the second option seems to have a longer life. Looking for some advice on this if you please.

      I have a nvidia GeForce 7900 GS video card. Got it for 200 bucks from Tiger Direct. Awesome card, highly recommend it.
