Re: All Time Most Scary Movie

Weird... I know a lot of people mention the Ring, but that movie wasn't scary at all to me. I was laughing at the scene where she comes out of the TV and that seems to be everyone's scariest moment of the movie.

I dunno... the premise just wasn't one that struck as being scary. A video that makes you die if you watch it? Did nothing for me...

Also, I'd like to mention the original Night of the Living Dead and the original Dawn of the Dead as being awesome scary movies.

The scene in the Night of the Living Dead where the little girl kills her mother was always terrifying to watch.

      LOL!!!

My mom told me she saw the exact same thing when she went to the movie on opening night. She went to a late show and the usher handed her an empty popcorn bag.

And dq, yes, Robert Stack (aka the OG Elliot Ness) has since passed away.

          The Hillz.

I don't know why I watched this movie, but watching Paris Hilton try to act is the scariest thing I have ever seen.

                    Can't argue with Exorcist.

Although 28 Days Later really messed me up, awesome movie.

Anyone seen Jacobs Ladder? I'm looking into picking up some of these flicks and have a hard time deciding. Is Jacobs Ladder more of a phsycological thriller, a slasher or something more creepy?

Definitely "It". Tim Curry is perfect as Pennywise, and absolutely terrifying. I remember watching it as a kid, and nearly crapping my pants in fear watching it. I hate clowns now.
