Re: Rapper Fabolous Shot, Stable in NYC
the four jumped into a vehicle and fled, attracting the attention of police when they ran a red light. Officers stopped them and discovered two loaded guns in the vehicle, both of which were apparently unlicensed, Wysokowski said. All four men were arrested, and charges were pending.Police did not identify the three men arrested with the rapper, saying only that they are 18, 23 and 29 years old.
I'll never understand this "street cred"/"Gangsta lifestyle" for as long as I live but it's beyond stupid.
Anyways since it seems this was unprovoked then I guess my sympathies lie with the man.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

For some reason, that one episode of the Sopranos comes to mind when I read this. The one where Treach(sp)? asked Bobby to shoot him in the leg to help get his album movin'.Comment

Re: Rapper Fabolous Shot, Stable in NYC
A rapper was shot. Wow, this one ranks right up there with the sun rises in the east and income tax deadline day in the U.S. is April 15.
That said, I hope the guy recovers. But I'm far from surprised.
Let's be honest: This shooting will only make him sell more records and have more "street cred" once he recovers, so I'm sure the record company is happy.
Take care,
