Care to help with this picture??? Photo-shoppers?

I'm trying to put together this picture for this personal project...but I'm not too great with Paintshop or whatever, I want all of the smaller pics inside of the "N", but I want it to seem a little balance but leave as little white space as possible inside of the "N"...I don't mind them overlapping as long as you can tell what the image is...hopefully one of you will have a little time and can help. My only thing is, I would like to have the cross in the center of the "N", everything else I really have no preference.

garnettrules21, you should also try a version with bigger pictures inside the N.

You could even have the pictures almost coming out of the N, but then cutting off the overlap.

Like Coffey said, as long as the image is identifiable it will work.

I don't know, just to give him another option. And, because I want to see how it would look.

The problem with this from the get go is that you have a very odd basket of elements to blend. This type of thing would take a great deal of explanation and then you kind of lose the purpose of having an image to begin with. If it's done well an image generally speaks for itself. Pretty tough to pull off with what you have here, but anyway, here's the shot I took:

Yea, thats more what I was thinking, where the images would overlap and parts of them cut off by the outline of the N...when I get home later, I'll post what I have...more than anything I'm just having trouble with the balance of the whole thing and making it so that you can tell what some of the pictures are when its all put together.

That looks good, if you could move everything inside of the N, I think part of the problem with balance is that I need one more pic so it will even the # of images on either side of the cross...what if you put 4 on one side and leave space for one on the other and i will find one more image to put in it.

                    You have the right idea.

Now you have to use the N as a masking clip so the parts of the smallar images that are sticking out of the N can be cut off from the picture entirely.

I imagined this is how you wanted it to look so I did this real quick.

(I had to edit the images to get it to work, so the "N" has some rough edges. That's because I did it real quick just to see how it would look. So, if you want it cleaned up I can do that. Also, let me know if you want even less white space).

                          I like YP's.

Is this one of those things where you put pics about you inside the first letter of your name? Ive done that in school before.

                            Ok, so I guessed right.

You got it, though. Why did you need our help!
