Does milk help you lose/gain weight?

Quick question, my roomie and I are arguing, does milk help you lose or gain weight?

I've never heard anything like this before but I just did a quick search and it seems a study last year says that children who have 3 or more servings of milk a day tend to gain more weight

Milk is a natural promoter of fat loss and lean muscle gain.

      Drink up.

If it's whole milk, choked with fat, then you'll gain weight. If it's skim or 1 percent, it can help you lose weight.

Ok, I thought that if you drank one percent you would lose weight.

          Thanks.

Conflicting reports about milk and weight. Some say it helps lose weight, others say it either has no effect or helps gain weight. Hard to say at this point. but no one denies the health benefits of calicum and bone strength and growth. This is regardless of the amount of fat in the milk (ie: whole, 2%, skim).

Two stories from what I would consider reputable sources, the Mayo Clinic and WebMD.com, about how milk can promote weight loss:

It would be one thing if these were stories from the American Dairy Council. But I think these are two pretty impartial sources.

              Take care,

are you drinking skim milk because you think you're fat, cause you could totally drink whole milk if you wanted to.

                  Milk doesn't exist anymore.
