        if you have to envision it as medieval, then do it that way. Sure some artists have crazy demands, but stuff like catered food gets eaten by some of the lowly arena staff who works 15+ hours to setup the concert so these divas can make money for an hour and a half of "work"...

        Nappy roots played here at western carolina awhile back, and they had a bunch of stuff. All the food magically was gone at the end of the night. I doubt stars get a giant bowl of only green M&M's, only for them to get thrown away.

                        would anyone fill bad making people actually go out and get all that stuff for you. thats gotta be a terrible job.

                        i would feel so bad, even though they are getting paid, that I would request maybe 5-6 things at the most.

                        to think there only there for 8-12 hours at most, in most city stops

                            I'm sure the venues get the products delivered to them by vendors and at discounted prices because it's purchased in bulk.

                                    A lot of this stuff gets put in the riders to make sure the people putting the event together are paying attention. I read somewhere that artists will list some small inexpensive item just to make sure there demands are met.
