    Question about PC sound card...

Hey yall, got another PC question for ya. Just got a brand new sound card and a set of speakers. It's a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 w/ EAX Advanced HD. Got it on sale at Circuit City as well as the speakers(which are also Creative specifically designed for this paticular sound card). My PC came with intergrated stereo sound and an empty PCI-Express slot where a sound card can be placed. Anyway, got everything hooked and downloaded the new drivers, etc. It's working perfectly so far, but I've got one question. The card has an input where it looks like a pin connector from the power supply unit fits into it(to provide power to the card itself). But there was no pin connector on my psu the matched the fittings. I've got a pretty beefy psu because I also have a high end graphics card(which is also hooked up to my psu). I just want to make sure I didn't do anything wrong. Like I said, it seems to be working just fine as I'm getting great sound. The card is in the slot and the backplate with all the inputs is hooked up to the audio jack. Do most newer sound cards need their own power supply like the newer graphics cards do? Any thoughts or suggestions? Or am I making a big fuss out of nothing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

A little 4 pin molex connector should have come with the card.

I don't think it's going to be detrimental to not have it plugged in, but it wouldn't hurt.

Yeah, it's strange. The instructions make no mention of it either.

Well, called Creative up. Apparently you don't hook anything up to this paticular card and I did everything right. Just wanted to get peace of mind and make sure I didn't fry the card.
