    Need help importing email from Outlook to Thunderbird...

    Hey everybody. Got yet another PC question. I'm trying to import my hotmail account from outlook to modzilla thunderbird. When it asks me for my incoming and outgoing server name, what do i put? How can I find this out? It's preventing me from setting up an account because I don't know them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

      Not sure what the incoming server is for Hotmail, but for outgoing, you are going to need to know your ISP's outgoing mail server. For example, I have Charter, and my outgoing mailserver is smtp.charter.net

      You can probably find this out from your local ISP's website

          I'm trying to set this up as well, as I have Charter also!

          What is your user name and password? That's all I'm missing!

                              well im not using a charter accoun either. im using my auburn account through Apple's mail client. But my incoming mail server is still smtp.charter.net, because that is my ISP.
