    Well guys, here's the first trailer for Day of the Dead remake. I'm not too happy with what they have done here as this movie doesn't feel like it even has the story progression from Dawn remake that the zombies have spread already. It's like they took the Day name and slapped it on another Zombie movie, and they go as far as trying to explain the outbreak due to a virus. I'm not looking for a straight remake here, but this one is totally out there. Not only do we get "Runners" again, we even get "High Flying" (At 1:25, a zombie running up/across a wall) zombies this time, oh great.

    Then after that they jumped out of windows!!! they'd break their legs jumping from that high... so if they can still run we have...SUPERHUMAN ZOMBIES!!!!

    Atleast Dawn '04 had a similar plot to the original with newly added twists + story. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!! This is like an action film with zombies, I'll go and watch House of the Dead II than if that's what I want to see. F*ck, even better I'll go watch Day of the Dead 2: Contangium, this elevates Day 2 to be watchable.

    Oh well, Hollywood trying to make money off of the Dead franchise.

      wow... I'm a huge fan of the remake to Dawn of the Dead and this movie just looks like crap! Researh turned them into zombies? OK... what is this a ripoff of Resident Evil? I think I'll be missing this one.

          The original "Day of the Dead" was the worst of the series, I wasn't expecting anything good.

          Again, this is why I hate horror remakes, and yes, it looks like crap.

              isnt this a prequel? anyway i see Ving Rhames is in this as well...do you guys think he's playing as his brother....if you remember from the other remake he kept talking about how they should go to Fort something where his brother was...

                  No, there's no tie in with the Day remake and the Dawn remake. Would have made too much sense to do an actual sequel if you are going to mess with the plot, since this looks NOTHING like the original Day. The Dawn remake was good, I prefer the original, but at least it tried to stay true to the source material.

                      Oh, and Candy, this movie may be crap, but nothing will ever make either House of the Dead's or Day of the Dead 2 watchable. Just not going to ever happen, those are 3 of the worst horror movies ever made, and all 3 deserve to have the print burned.

                          No, not a prequel. I just read an interview with the guy that wrote this movie and it's not really even supposed to be a remake in a sense. He wanted to use the "Day of the Dead" name he proclaims as a way that this all takes place during the Day as the Zombies progress.

                              Steve Miner... When I saw he was doing it, I knew it was done for. Besides Friday the 13th 2 and 3, his only other saving grace is House. H2O was crap, he did the Wonder Years. Yeah, that's a good pre-requisite for doing the "Of the Dead" movies...UGH
