    Help fix my XBox...

yeah i know, what the hell is he talking about XBoX. well i still play it regularly even though i've got a 360. mainly for ncaa 07 and madden. but lately, this damn thing will not load, mainly EA games. played a full game of nfl2k5 but for some reason, EA disc just won't work on my console. i tips to resolving this? i really don't want to pay $150 on a current gen console...

    thx...
I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...

Sounds like your disc drive is crapping out. Is your Xbox either a launch or a 2002 model? If so, you probably have one of the original, sh*tty Thomson drives.

Buy a Samsung drive on eBay for about $50 and replace the Thomson with it. It's a simple procedure -- takes about 30 minutes. I did it a year ago with no problems, and my Xbox was revived and renewed.

    Complete instructions:

    Good luck.

    Take care,

The newer EA games are a real problem with the older Thomson drives.

just wait until your damn motherboard gives out. lol.

i have a hybrid xbox barely working right out.

it has my orginial xbox (the one with the thompson drive) harddrive and motherboard. but installed in that is my newer xboxs samsung dvd drive.

Seems like at first they made great motherboards and Harddrives but crappy thompson dvd drives and later sacrificed the motherboards and harddrives for the better dvd drives. theres no winning with microsoft
