1- how do u play .001 entension files

2- if the image is green, how do u fix it

A .001 file isn't a video file, it's an extension for a split up .RAR file. There should be a file in the pack that has the aforementioned .RAR file that you'll need to unzip in order to access the actual video file.

You'd probably also benefit from getting a program like GSpot which will read the information from a video file and tell you which codecs you will need in order to view it.

there was a rar and i unrar-ed it and the actually video file is extension .001

You have to use hjsplit. It combines rar files. If you have a .001 file, make sure there isn't another .002,.003, etc to go with it.
