Isnt the guy who plays Volchek someones friend on OS?

Yes, someone is friends with him here on OS. He said that Volchek is a really nice guy in real life.

I can't wait for next week with Ryan showing up at his door. I really like the new direction here with the characters, it's finally allowing them to show a different side of their character. I hope that they don't cancel the show, and I hope that if they decide to end this show that they allow this to be their final season.

Saw tonight the OC is going to air at 9pm EST on Wednesday and at it's normal time slot on Thursday.

Reason for this is that they want to try out the 9pm EST timeslot on Wed. Yes, that's the same timeslot as LOST.

Very odd that Fox has tried to pit the OC against some of the higher rated shows on TV (LOST, Grey's Anatomy, CSI, Deal or No Deal...). You'd think they'd move it to a different day/time (Tuesday perhaps?) if they wanted to get better ratings.

This year has been 100% better without Marissa Cooper.

I will agree with that, she was causing too much trouble. Marissa was starting to annoy me like Lana has on Smallville.
