sheesh i tuned in hoping to see some undiscovered cuties and all i got was a bunch of trailer trash jerry springer rejects. the only half way decent chick was the indian girl but her massive forehead ruined it for me. shes got that vince young hairline going on.

I'm really glad that the Arizona Idol (we have a yearly contest to send the winner to the auditions) got mad props, she is really good. She was the 16 year old that the daughter of the Giants CB. I think she'll make it far in the competition.

Lol @ RubenDouglas. Yeah well I just can't help myself. After seeing Tamyra Grey and Christina from the first season, I have tuned in for the chicks every year. The girl last night, whose boss flew her down, Yeah I dug her. Indian girl was cool too, a little bony, but cute.

I didn't even see a lot of last season, so someone answer this-At what point in the competition did Dreamgirls Jennifer Hudson get axed? Amazingly she wins a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical in her first acting job.

I think she was in Fantasia's season a couple years ago. She made it to the top 12 but was voted off about halfway through. I think it was when she was voted off that people really started talking about American Idol being rigged or the voting being racially driven.

Hmmmm...Interesting analysis by Wikipedia:
On April 21, 2004, Hudson became the sixth of the 12 finalists to be voted off the show. Her departure sparked controversy - especially since the bottom three that week were all African-American females, including Latoya London and Fantasia Barrino (who later went on to win). Guest judge Elton John called them the "divas", believing them to be the best singers of the season, and suggesting that their placement in the bottom three was "racist".[1] Others speculated that the "divas" simply split the same demographic[1], or that some fans assumed the three girls were not in danger and therefore did not vote. A power outage in Hudson's hometown of Chicago may also have cost her votes.[citation needed] Though her potential has been revealed to us, her raw, untrained talent (at that time) was the most likely cause for her dismissal.[citation needed]
