"[My video] cost a million dollars. Pamela Anderson was in it. I was jumping across canyons and sh--." When his video doesn't win, Kanye argued, "the awards show loses credibility. Nothing against you, but hell, man."

The rant, which inspired gasps from the audience, carried over into a post-show press conference, in which West admitted to reporters, "I haven't seen [the Justice vs. Simian video]. Possibly it could have been quite good, but no way better than 'Touch the Sky'. That is complete bullsh--. I paid a million. Obviously it's not all about the money, but the response it got transcended everything, it really made great TV. It took a month to film; I stood on a mountain; I flew a helicopter over Vegas. I did it to be the king of all videos and I wanted to walk home with that award."

He attributed the Justice vs. Simian win to some "spread the love bullsh--, 'Oh everyone should have an award'. Please, press people, print 'Kanye says f--- that!"

Great guy, that Kanye. Great guy.

I've seen the video..It's ok but nothing that "transcended" everything. Notice how he keeps harping about how much it costs? I bet the other video didn't cost as much. Sometimes artistic integrity can be cheaper.

He use to live around my neighborhood and I use to proud of him and his success. But I ego is way out of control. I acting like a little kid. He really needs to step out of the spotlight and check himself.......before the fans and the industry turns on him.

I didn't even think that video was that great. I don't even think it was in his top 3. I think the "Heard 'em Say" video was 3 times better than that one.

I felt he used to be really underrated, but as soon as he gets in front of a camera or mic, he always has to say something stupid and foolish and unprofessional.

I know he's that dumb, but he's also that smart. Remember that controversy is what society longs for. The person who is the bad boy or the dumb one is the person that keeps making money from things of that nature. Honestly, if you view anything, you'll see. Mike Tyson hasn't boxed a serious match in a while and he's still getting attention. Attention is a good thing in that business.......
