Great tribute to Ed on the CBS Evening News, which devoted a good 80% of the show to his memory. Steve Kroft, Lesley Stahl, 60 Minutes creator Don Hewitt, and out of studio former anchor Bob Schieffer joined Katic Couric as they reminisced about Ed. Kroft was noticibly shaken and that's when Katic wrapped it up. Perhaps Bob Schieffer summed up Ed best of all when he said he "was the coolest person he had ever known".
RIP Bradley.

Re: RIP Bradley.
One of the most "cool" and hip reporters of all time. The guy cared about his work and it showed but he never showed a "holier then thou" attitude that most reporters and anchors have in spades.
Next to Mike Wallace and Andy Rooney he's my favourite 60 Minutes personality. I had no idea he was sick.
RIP Ed Bradley
Whoa what? Damn, I didn't know this. Sad day.PS: You guys are great.
