I was never a huge fan of his solo work. I liked some of the songs but I loved one song he did with the group Levert called "Casanova".

I heard about this news on the radio earlier today about Gerald Levert.

Reminds me of LSG. I always wanted them to collaborate and do another album together. Now unfortunately it can't happen. R.I.P. Levert.

Man I didn't see this comin either. Just found out about it when I looked at this thread topic.

Back in the 80's my uncle came home from Miami to celebrate his birthday. All of us kids decided to have a Cosby Show-like dance off to entertain him, boys vs girls. We fought each other all day to get the right to dance to his favorite song, which was LeVert's "Casanova". My wife is gonna be disappointed when she finds out as well, she was a big LSG fan.

RIP Gerald.

Dang, this even more depressing than when Luther left us... With Luther, we knew he had been sick for awhile, so the shock was lessened... This came way outta left field.... Brah leaves us with some great music....
