I've got two AMD A64 s939 3800 X2's both running at 2.6 Ghz, one AMD A64 AM2 5200 X2 running at 2.8 Ghz and one Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 running at 3.00 Ghz. That E6600 is a BEAST of a processor. Blows my AMD's out of the water.
