Wasnt it Pearl jam that, upset that the big companies were dominating their concerts, and thus increasing ticket sales to make more money, decided to book their own concerts at a lower price but then lost alot of money doing so and realized you cant beat the system?

It comes up in one of my essays but I cant find a newspaper article or scholarly article on it. Anyone ever come across this? Thanks
