Comment on tonights My Name is Earl ep w/Christian Slater
Is it just me or is Christian Slater becoming Jack Nicholson? Maybe when ol' Jack dies then Christian will just quietly change his name and assume his identity. He sure has his mannerisms, voice and younger Jack looks down. Almost too much in fact, pretty scary.

I don't watch this show, but I've definitely noticed the same thing about Slater in recent roles.
He has that voice thing going to. How many people have been watching Earl all season? I think its been kind of spotty during the season. There have been some great episodes though.

Slater's been compared to Jack since he started because of the voice. Since all his good acting roles have dried up the last few years I guess he figures he can make some money being a cover actor at least until he lives down Hollow Man 2. It's too bad because he had some good roles with True Romance and Very Bad Things before he went off the deep end.Comment

It's definately not up to the same level as the premier season, though the episode with Roseanne (where Earl was the "voice of God") was pretty funny.
The season just started off crappy with the focus on Joy, who is GREAT as a side character and supporting role, but with the exception of "Broke Joy's Fancy Figurine" her list episodes have sucked hard.I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams
