Is this a decent deal for a laptop?

I'm looking to pick one up now because my pc is on its last leg. I'm not a tech head, but this seems like it would fit my needs. I don't plan on gaming, just doing work and occasionally watching some videos. Is this price fair?

I bought a Gateway at Best Buy for $399. Pretty similar specs to the Wal Mart one too

1.5 ghz
512 ram
60 gig HD

All I use mine for is goofing around. Our PC is upstairs so I got this to surf the net and play around while downstairs.
