    LCD question

When watching standard definition channels on an HD tv I occasionally notice some distortion. I am using regular a/v cables from my direct tv box (getting HD next Friday)

Would S-Video help with that distortion or is that something I have to live with?

It may help a little. Is S-Video the best connection you can use ?? No component cables (red, blue and green ) ?
