      That's somewhat true but not always the case. I purchased an Olevia 27" LCD/HDTV 8ms from Office Depot last year and the final cost to me was $500.

      I'm using it for my 360. No dead or stuck pixels very fast refresh rate and it has a better looking picture quality than the Samsung LCD/HDTV's on the Xbox 360 kiosk.

        Yeah you do get what you pay for. You pay 1000.00 for a samsung and 500.00 for a Olevia 27"... Both Tv's Are pretty close.

        You pay more for the NAME BRAND.....

                  Because that's when the rebate is good for(10/23-11/19). If you purchase it today, save your newegg invoice, you have up to 12/18/06 postmarked to mail it in to the manufacturer.
