Ive been with them for about 2 months now and ABSOLUTELY LOVE it. Very quick shipping, and I have been getting new releases very quick. I can send one game back on Saturday and get a new one on Tuesday. New releases that ship to stores on Tuesday (they get them Wed.), I have by Thursday/Friday. I would certainly recommend trying them. I have the two out at a time plan, which is only $12.99/month.

        Re: Does anybody use Gameznflix?

I just started using it. I decided to stick with it and cancel GameFly after Gameznflix passed my test.

GameFly: Ship game Monday. I get it Friday.
Gameznflix: Ship game Monday. I get it Tuesday or Wednesday.

Once I saw that I stuck with Gamez.

Plus, the price is much, much cheaper.

As soon as they open up in Chicago I'll join and try them out. Till then, I'll stick with GF.

I just started a new thread in the Non-Sports gaming about Gamefly. I'm looking into joining one of these. Obviously Gamez is cheaper but I want to get the game the quickest way possible. I'm from NJ, does GF have any shipping centers that are closer then DC to NJ?

Does this site still have the 6 at a time for $249 a year deal? That is by far the best deal around if they do. And them having a distribution center in DC is fantastic since I live 5 minutes out outside of the city.

I have read some terrible reviews though, and I haven't had any problems with GameFly, so I'm not sure what I'm gonna do.

I signed up for the trial. I'll see how it goes. Just put College Hoops and Gears of War in my queue. I'm guessing they will be here maybe Tuesday or so. I started at the worst possible time, lol. Anyway i'll let know how it goes. I ended up going with it because GF has one shipping center, all the way in LA.

I've used Gamefly in Florida and Pennsylvania, and shipping times aren't bad. It's the processing time that kills you (ie. how long until they "receive" the game, etc.). lol.

Pray that you have a post office that's under Gamefly's "Fast Return" program. It's a service where Gamefly will send the next game, before they receive it, if scanned at a participating post office. There's no way of knowing until you check your GameQ, though.

Yea, bad timing. You'll probably even end up on the bottom of the priority list because you are only a trial member.

How does the availability gauge look?

This is what killed GameFly for me. I think they were great, but they simply could not get the games to me quickly because my post office didn't use that service (though they do for Blockbuster Online...I don't get it) and the closest shipping center is in Cali. Gamez has one in MA. MA to NY is crazy fast. Like I said, I got a game in one day from their shipping center.

I was doing a search, looking at Gameznflix and I came across Intelliflix. Anyone use this one?

                          Re: Does anybody use Gameznflix?

I've been debating about using gameznflix...since I bought my 360 in Oct I have bought NBA 2k7, CH 2k7, SC: DA, GRAW (used), GoW, R6:V....granted I had nearly $200 in trade in credit, so I didn't really outright buy all those games, but that is $300 worth of games in about a month....LOL....

When I actually went out of pocket for R6 and CH this week, I started seriously thinking about this...heck, I could get the 2 games/DVD's out at a time deal and only spend about $150 per year....or most likely spend over $600 per year and not play all the games I want to.

So if anyone else has an opinion on this service I'm all ears.

What you said is exactly the reason why I started using an online rental service.

What I spend in a year renting is much, much less than what I would spend buying.

Another factor is me getting bored of games. I get bored of games quick and end up selling them and then rebuying them again months later. An online rental service allows me to just send it back for another game I always wanted to play.

Exactly. And, you can keep the games for as long as you want, at least I think. Anyway this is a sweet deal. I've wasted tons of money lately and I can take it, because I don't make enough to start with.

BTW, I switched to a member just for that reason. I got the 2 out at a time. Waiting on CH and GOW.
