I'm still so sad that Harris died :\ He was the perfect Dumbledore. I still can't stand this new guy at all.

Yeah he really was perfect as Dumbledore. The other guy just seems angry all the time.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Richard Harris was an embarrassment as Dumbledore.

And that teaser was incredible. I'm mega-hyped.

IMO the movies have gone downhill after the second one. Probably because the books have gotten longer and therefore more had to be cut out.

                I feel the complete opposite.

I thought each movie has gotten better and better...and this one looks like it continues this trend.

Well I feel as if the books have gotten stronger each time, so maybe I'm just comparing each movie to its literary counterpart.

I agree with you about the books, and think the movies are also improving...but maybe that's because I'm filling in all the things that have to be left out of the movies.

They cut more out but the movies have gotten much better. I hope they don't cut too much out of this one though since there's so much information.

Re: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I'm way psyched for this movie. I haven't read any of the books yet, but from the looks of this one it might displace Azkaban as my favorite among the movies so far. As for the Dumbledore question, I liked Richard Harris much more than Michael Gambon. That said, Gambon's performance doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would when Harris died. Harris was definitely a more kindly and caring Dumbledore though.

These really need to come out on Blu-Ray ASAP....
                        Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.
Dash: [muttering] Which is another way of saying no one is.
